Wagner Leader Prigozhin Buried in Private Ceremony

Wagner president Yevgeny Prigozhin was buried at a private funeral in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, as reported by his official press agency and state media.
He passed away shortly after the plane with him on board crashed, killing him along with a number of key managers in his military force.
The interment took place "under close door" at the city's Porokhovskoye cemetery, reported to the Concord Group on Telegram.
who acts as Wagner's megaphone, has been in tweeting until June 26, a few days after Prigozhin's short insurrection.
The processes, that were not broadcasted or captured, went on in secrecy. As to state media, the Wagner leader's family desired that just close relatives and close friends attend.
As reported by local media, the burial site was closed to visitors and secured by police carrying antidrone arms on the evening of Tuesday.
Reuters posted footage from the location showed a black Wagner flag put over a small area that was held by Rosgvardia national guard staff.
The Kremlin had said before that Russian President Vladimir Putin wouldn't be present. The date and venue of the cremation was not made public in preparation.
Prigozhin died in an aeroplane crash this week northwest of Moscow, just two months before leading a brief rebellions in June.
